Ubby Dubby is another of those quirky language games that children can play, along with Pig Latin which involves adding in extra letters to confuse and obscure the actual word.

Also known colloquially as Pig Greek, Ubby Dubby (and its variant Obby Dobby) work on the basis of inserting 'ub' (or 'ob' for the other one) just in front of each vowel/group of vowels.

For example, hello becomes hubellubo.

This translation has also been known as Obenglobish (translation of English using the ob addition) and a variant of Double Dutch.
