Pig LatinFrom category: Word Games Pig Latin is, as its name suggests, a slightly warped inflection of Latin. Specifically, it is a translation of English which sounds vaguely like Latin - but only very, very vaguely. At its simplest, it would be defined as taking the first consonants off the front of the word, putting them at the end and adding 'ay' to it. This method has some success, but our translation is slightly more involved... There also seem to be varying dialects of Pig Latin, quite bizarrely, almost as though they have spread and evolved like regional dialects of English have throughout the UK and/or US. (I have never been to America, so my understanding and knowledge may be a little lacking...) It is possible to translate a few words/phrases, and whole webpages, using this voice.
