Morse CodeFrom category: Miscellaneous Morse code, invented by Samuel Morse in the first half of the 20th Century, is a form of sending messages over wireless (the old kind, like radio) by using monotonal sound - in other words, language is translated, letter by letter, into sounds of either short or long beeps (known as dots and dashes respectively) It's a pretty international standard, so we've included it here for you. For reference, here's a guide to the Morse code. Punctuation hasn't been included, it just makes it more confusing... Letter Morse Letter Morse A .- N -. B -... O --- C -.-. P .--. D -.. Q --.- E .
