Alcohol seems to have a very bizarre effect on people. It can turn even the nicest of people into very strange moody people. And most pronounced of all is the effect it has on their speech.

Previously eloquant people begin to lose the ability to pronounce words properly, as the control of the facial muscles becomes less well defined.

I have attempted to recreate this feel - so if ever you want to experience the drunken slur, you can do so without having to fork out enough for several rounds of drinks, or risking a punch-up in your local over a misheard and/or misinterpreted phrase or two...
