- The code and associated 'voices' have been implemented by Peter Spicer, some of which is based on the work of others. Where this is the case, it has been noted in the text about the 'voice' or dialect. This information can be found here. In almost all cases, the code is 100% original.
- Peter Spicer, and the hosting company Linode (upon whose server the site runs) disclaim all and any warranties regarding the results of anything generated by scripts as part of The Voices of Many. This includes, and is not limited to, merchantability and fitness (implied or otherwise) for any purposes, and non-infringement.
- This site is a service. The service it provides is for personal use only. If any other uses are requested, please contact me, Peter Spicer, via this page. Peter Spicer, nor Linode, are responsible for any uses made of the site or facilities. That said, if there is any issue, you are urged to contact Peter Spicer via the above website. Similarly, damages from lost profits, lost revenue, or loss of use would also not be answerable to Peter Spicer, Linode or "The Voices of Many", where arising out of or being related to:
- The Voices of Many website
- Use of the website, including any generated (and not stored) results
- Information contained by the website
- This site also does not intend to intrude upon privacy. We confirm that logs are kept by the server, for no more than 24 hours, of pages requested and the IP number that they were sent to. After 24 hours, this log is erased and is maintained solely by the web server itself for the purposes of identifying pages which fail to load or otherwise do not perform as intended. It is not used to track websites, popularity or anything else. We also do not in any way identify a website with a requestor and consequently cannot track usage of such.
- Whether such damages arise in contract (implied, written, verbal or other), negligence, tort, under statute, in equity, in law or otherwise specified, the parties named above will not be responsible.
- This policy was last amended on 19th April 2006. "The Voices of Many" website - and Peter Spicer - reserve the right to amend these as necessary or as appropriate, without notice being required to be served.
