About the Site

The Voices of Many is a project started by Pete Spicer in Autumn 2005, to... no, that's not right...

Basically the site is a tool/fun item to allow you to call up other publicly-accessible websites and change the words into other dialects or manners to 'enhance' or otherwise parody the page(s) you visit.

It is not intended to cause offence to any other person(s) (please see the disclaimer) but is provided for entertainment purposes, to view/skew the web in a variety of interesting and colourful manners.

The site is maintained by Pete Spicer, using nothing more than PHP, a server and lots and lots of free time.

Any feedback should really be sent back to Pete via the contact page.

This space is reserved for fun, dialects, word mashing and so on, not for guestbooks, forums in general or indeed much else other than wordiful fun.

If you're curious about our stance on morality or ethics, or indeed the issue of copyright, please see our disclaimer. Also, if you're a disgruntled webmaster fed up of your pages being mashed about by The Voices of Many, please see this page which will hopefully help sort you out.

Although this is essentially a solo project, I have had help from other people. See here for who, how and who we have to thank for this site.
